How To Make A Productive Day?

How To Make A Productive Day? [Marcin Rzucidlo / Life Puzzle Coach]

This is the question from one of you that landed in my inbox. I do invite you to send me your questions. You may get a good answers to something you want to know 🙂

How to make a productive day?

There are four keys to a productive day:

1) Mindset (it’s what you think and what you focus on)

2) Vision (it’s what you want to accomplish)

3) Habits (it’s what you do to make your day productive)

4) Skills (it’s how well you do what you do)

Let’s see the recipe for a productive day step by step

1) Mindset (it’s what you think and what you focus on)

Set your mind to productivity. Think of this day as a productive one. Say to yourself “I’m going to have a productive day.” Treat it as the only available option.

Focus on the tasks you will do, what is good about them and what benefits they will bring. Do this rather than focusing on how demotivated you can be.

The good approach here is asking yourself quality questions: “If I do that, what will I be able to do then?” “What will it give to me?” “What will it make possible?”

2) Vision (it’s what you want to accomplish)

Have clarity of what you want to accomplish this day.

Envision the results you want to achieve. Clarity of goals and purpose are keys to motivation.

In the morning (and along the day), imagine what you will have done during the day. What positive difference you will have “produced”?

3) Habits (it’s what you do to make your day productive)

Install and run productive habits. It can take some time, but it is one of the best investments you can make.

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” as Aristotle said.

Once you develop your productive habits, you will be running your days on a productive autopilot.

Some productive habits include: taking care for your physical and mental shape (yes!), planning, avoiding distractions, avoiding procrastination, investing in self-development, etc.

4) Skills (it’s how well you do what you do)

Constantly develop your productive skills.

Those that save time. Those that increase the return on your time investment. Those that help you plan, prioritize and execute your plan well.

For example, self-management, communication or relevant technical skills.

Mindset, Vision, Habits and Skills are four keys to the Productivity Puzzle.

Turn them better and your days will be better (I mean more productive :-))
