Recently, I bought a selfie stick.
Yes, I know I should have done it loooong ago, but… anyway.
Trying to figure out the best way to use it, the following reflection came to my mind.
Most probably you have either read the book or seen the film entitled “The Picture of Dorian Grey”
In short, it’s a story of a young and handsome man who is portrayed. Delighted with own image, he would like to stay alike forever. Mysteriously, from that moment on, all the physical aging and moral deterioration will be displayed on his portrait, leaving his appearance intact.
With time, the representation of his soul on the portrait becomes unbearable.
What does it have to do with a selfie stick?
Well, it is used for taking selfies. A reflection of what we look like.
And I thought what it would be like if, instead of a selfie, we could make a soulfie.
A picture of our soul, spirit, mind or conscience. Whatever you call, it would be the picture of what we have inside.
What would you look like in such a soulfie?
Think about it for a moment.
Even if with your mind’s eyes you will see the picture of your soul that is not your favorite, you still have a chance to change it.
Not with the Photoshop, but with your own mindset, vision, habits and skills.
Make a great day 🙂
