I enjoy my mini conversations on facebook.
They are my thoughts provoked by status updates by any of my virtual mentors that I follow.
I share them in the comments and sometimes they spark though-provoking exchange.
One of my such virtual mentors is Andy Andrews.
Recently Andy Andrews asked a provoking question on his facebook profile:
Who has influenced you the most in your personal life?
There were many big names mentioned in the comments. And all the comments were right. But I wanted to go left because I wanted people to think beyond what their first thought could be.
Here’s my response:
I believe that the only person of real influence on anyone is THE anyone. Click To Tweet
The person who influenced me most in my personal life is me. Actually, I am influencing myself all the time. For the better and for the worse. And yes, I have been shaped by many people and events in my life, but still I believe that the only person of real influence on anyone is THE anyone.
Food for thought: How do you influence yourself?
